Once the universe has started, well, I decided to try drawing some
anthropomorphic critters rather than various objects like I used to do
before. Well, I actually did a few before already, but it still wasn't
a main focus. Now I somewhat wanted to get myself a proper fursona for
once.
You may notice my stuff (still) has some rendintion to work from Jenny_Lee, it's because, if you didn't know yet, it's one of the earliest furry art that I hit, so of course it was a noticable source of inspiration for a hot minute. I was since coming up with all the different ways to do some of those things. Some not. Some seem okay as they are.
Before I begin making myself a fursona, I need to get familiar with whatever critter I'm about to base it on. Wherever that notion of fennec foxes comes from, it's certainly a result of circumstances, anyway this seems like such a misnomer for me, rather tall, lazy, and uncommunicable, which is not what they're known for.
A few hundred photos of fennecs and normal foxes later I came up with a what critter I am. I'm a critter that has a BLACK tip on my tail rather than white! Because that's how fennec tend to appear, it appears! I then just figured MY own way to go about drawing MY own tail, only to forget how did I manage that in all subsequent drawings. I've filled-in the rest of that page with myself in different poses, but I wouldn't suggest looking at it, because I've got that thing with getting pulled/pressed down to rubbers and I've put that here too. Not the best idea to share that. >w<
Moving on after the first page there's just meant to be the second page, right? Ummm... yea. I watned to practice perspective and draw my guy from different angles, BUT my laziness was beginning to take over, further accelerated by certain something. Anyway, I was rather experimenting with post-processing my scans, and putting together my music and it was a rather long while when I wasn't drawing anything. Such a shame! It'd only get worse.
Into 2026 all I only drew was one birthday e-card and, then, that aforementioned attempts into perspective. Just a few things were apparent that eyes kept getting quite asymmetrical, then I didn't like that he was colored like that. Now I opted to leave clothing for some indefinite future and keep practicing until I get that TILT issue resolved... and then procrastinating half the summer when all I wanted was to fill out one (1) page with all the critters I could come up with. Not to mention spending a few weeks to return to working on Typewriter.
Eventually, since I proceeded to bring that one laptop that I mentioned before with me, I decided imma go draw digitally again for once. Maybe I'll come up with a data sheet of sorts.
So, heh, imma go back to my roots real quick first. Just a lil den where I live, to say. And it even got electricity? In fact I just downgraded to an even older version of MS Paint because the ability to save & load a pallete now considered crucial.
Let's think of his coloring now! Oh, only now do I notice there's something off. :V To make me not too boring my back, shoulders, and head appear a little bit darker.
The palette itself was picked up specifically so that they could dither inte nice-looking patters when there's a need for it (the Windows 16 colors mode that is!).
Actully, now that I think of it, how do they look in 2 colors? Welp, not the very nice pattern, unfortunately, well, it looks how it looks.
I really didn't like how small did I draw him in the above image, so let's do it again! this time a bit larger! And this time my tail is somewhat thin, I don't like that now! Actually I don't even like how I end up doing body proportions, even.
How so? Look at this thing. There's no thoughts in it. Just none. Well it just noticed people usually draw circles for head. He also noted how they do ears. But not like there's any audible thoughts about it somehow??
I thought of doing something I haven't done before for some reason. Let's bring that wobbly outline I was doing traditionally, into digital realms. A large pen is likely having its own origins.

I liked how wobbly outline turned out on the previous drawing. Let's try just it with normal brush size. Hey, I really like how the body turned out here. How did I manage that? I didn't just forget that too did I? Like a tail I've got so much trouble doing it again. qwq
I wanna catch a break from this, may I just lay down on grass and just be as lazy as I possibly can? Like to the point of dying of laziness. Because I really feel like I'm not up to anything at all sometimes.
the next universe year has began already, and I rather decide why the hell not get myself a drawing tablet after all? Because as far as I looked into them, they aren't that bloody expensive, really.

I quickly order it for a quick delively only to then install it and use it to point into that same MS Paint again with the only real difference that I made this shit in an unusually high resolution. And I can't help but feel like I completely busted all dimensions of that poor thing. You even know what you're doing right now?
In other news my sleep schedule fell out of sync again craving its own cycle HOORAY!!! Anyone else out there destined to be an owl? Perhaps the one case where a fennec fox is not a misnomer is my nocturnal nature try to tell me this must be fixed.. -w- Let's just take some coffee tonight because OF COURSE!
Maybe I'll make a page showcasing my old draws from way before, maybe I'll move out some of the unnecessary clutter from this page away (I just forgot how I wanted to start writing this). For now just know that I'm still drinking tea at nights. Frankly, I wanted to make more pieces badly, but then I fell into consumption hole, and felt very disoriented. And I must get things done just kill me
